I am a multi-hyphenate, freelance visual creative based out of Atlanta, Georgia. My typical week finds me balancing client work with a personal art studio practice and running a small merchandise business.

With a BFA in Art Education from the University of Georgia, my career began as a k-12 art teacher in 2009. Not long after, in 2010, I went back to school to study design at the Portfolio Center and then worked as a visual communications designer and art director for several marketing and design firms. In 2015, I balanced my design and direction work by beginning an art practice turned small business called GABEAUX which I still maintain to this day. Throughout those years I have also taught as an adjunct design educator at Portfolio Center and Miami Ad School.

The depth and variety of my creative responsibilities, entrepreneurship and working environments have resulted in a rich and unique career I am eternally thankful for. Now, as a matured and seasoned designer, director, illustrator and teacher, I aim to apply my full gamut of abilities to create meaningful and effective experiences for my clients, students and community.
