Argosy merch

By virtue of their name, Argosy has a vaguely oceanic theme in their bar. However, their multi-leveled, maze like interior is adorned with hand carved benches and dividers, taxidermy, hidden niches, unique art and the owners’ collection of Dunny “rabbits”, a series of art toys by Kidrobot and Tristan Eaton. When one of the three partners of the bar approached me to be among the artists creating some of this celebratory merch, the theme of “aquatic rabbit” made sense. The design was going to be produced on t-shirts and an enamel pins, creating more compositional and proportional constraints to my work than normal. Despite this challenge, the result was a very punky, iconic and pop-worthy sea bunny.
